Ever forked a site from a public page and wondered why it didn't show up in your Toolkit? That's fixed now. Fork from anywhere, see it everywhere - instantly.
Fork from any page and it appears in your Toolkit immediately (whether you're in the same tab or open multiple browser windows, everything syncs in real-time).
💡 How it works: When you open multiple browser windows and perform a Fork, we use localStorage + BroadcastChannel to notify all your open TabBoard tabs. If you Fork on the same page and then directly switch to Toolkit, we use sessionStorage + polling to catch the event.
Public pages (Designer Zone, Developer Zone) now run in 'lightweight mode' - they can forward fork events but can't access your private data. Your sensitive information stays safe while still enabling seamless cross-page communication.
🔒 Security layers:
• Public pages: Only listen for fork events, clean sensitive data
• Toolkit pages: Full functionality, safely manage your collected websites
Perfect for Homelab enthusiasts to use as a 'private deployment' navigation page. TabBoard automatically categorizes your websites by network type: public servers, home broadband, IPv6, and local networks.
🛡️ Data protection:
• 🖥️ Public server addresses (VPS, cloud instances)
• 🏠 Home broadband (dynamic IPs)
• 🌍 IPv6 addresses
• 🏢 Local networks (192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x)
TabBoard automatically cleans SessionStorage to prevent data leakage, keeping your data locked in your 'Toolkit'.
Added user accounts and made the default avatar look better. Now you can have your own space here!
